Mrs. Christy Collier
7th Grade Assistant Principal
I am excited to begin year 3 as the 7th grade administrator at Union Grove Middle School for the 2025-2026 school year. I enjoy having the opportunity to witness the strong sense of community and the commitment to academic excellence that has been created within our school. I am honored to be a part of the Wolverine family and will continue to build upon the strong foundation established by our amazing teachers, parents, and students.
I understand that your child's education is a top priority, and I am committed to partnering with you to ensure their success. As an educator with 21 years of experience in education, I believe that every child has the potential to excel in their academic and personal pursuits. Through regular communication, collaboration and support, I am here to help nurture your child's growth and development.
Throughout my 21 years in education, I have been dedicated to Henry County Schools - the place I call home. I have 15 years of classroom teaching experience and 3 years of working with teachers to develop strong classroom instructional practices. I began as Assistant Principal at UGM in March of 2022, and I look forward to continuing to serve our school this school year.
I am passionate about public education and ensuring that each student has the tools to realize his or her potential. I believe in the unique qualities of each person that helps to contribute to the larger community, and I hope to help bring those qualities out in students, families and staff members as I serve the Union Grove Middle community.
My heart belongs in middle school, and I truly believe it takes everyone working together to ensure our school is successful for all learners.
I look forward to meeting you and working with you soon.
Christy Collier
