Greetings Wolverines,

Welcome to another exciting school year at Union Grove Middle School! As we begin this new journey together, I want to remind everyone that educating our students is a process, not an event. Each day provides an opportunity for growth, discovery, and success as we work together to build a strong foundation for every child’s future.

I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our parents and guardians for partnering with Union Grove Middle School to ensure that the academic, social, emotional, and safety needs of our students are being met. Your continued support and engagement play a vital role in helping our students reach their fullest potential.

To our dedicated teachers and staff, thank you for your unwavering commitment to excellence. Your passion for teaching, consistent communication with families, and focus on meeting the needs of every student make Union Grove Middle a special place to learn and grow.

This school year, we have set ambitious yet attainable goals for achievement at UGMS. Our priorities include:

• Improving the percentage of students reading on or above grade level

• Increasing the percentage of students showing progress in each content area

• Raising our overall student attendance rate

The staff of Union Grove Middle School believes these goals are within reach because of our collective effort to go Above & Beyond to Build Bright Futures for all students. Together—as students, parents, teachers, and community partners—we will continue to make Union Grove Middle a place where excellence is expected and achieved.
