Mahli Lowder

I am so excited to be part of the Wolverine family as the bookkeeper.  I began my finance career at Tara Credit Union in 2000 and continued as a bookkeeper when we merged with The Southern Credit Union in 2005 until I retired at the end of December 2025.  I grew up in Minnesota after being adopted by Dale and Janice Scott.  I instantly gained two brothers, Wade and Kyle.  I have been married to Sam Lowder since 1996.  We enjoy being able to ride to work together as he has been the Orchestra teacher at Union Grove Middle School since 2019.  We both love music and have been playing flute (me) and cello (him) in both our church orchestra at First Baptist Church-Jonesboro and in our community orchestra, The Southern Crescent Symphony Orchestra.  I am also an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society since 2001 as a volunteer with the Relay For Life, Bark For Life, Southeast Community Fundraising Leadership Team and Voices of Hope.  I became a charter member of the Rotary Club of Atlanta Southern Crescent on April 29, 2022, and am currently serving my third year as the Club President.  When I am not working or volunteering, I enjoy spending time with our Pomchi, Yuki, reading, dancing, crafting, shelling, spending time at the beach or mountains, travelling, cooking, shopping, and collecting things.
